The second annual Outburst UK Black LGBTQ Pride Festival takes place on Saturday, 9 August 2008 on the safe and secure grounds of the Bernie Grant Arts Centre in Seven Sisters, north London and will be dedicated to the memory of fashion designer, actor and model, Arthur Peters who died last month. The day will run from 12 Noon till 10pm and there will be a fireworks display at 9pm.
The festival is an inclusive event regardless of race, nationality, age, gender or orientation, so we are hoping to see everyone coming out to have fun.
Designed by award winning architect David Adjaye, the Bernie Grant Arts Centre is the latest addition to Londonís cultural arts scene and will provide a perfect backdrop to this yearís festival. It is a place of boldness and a fitting tribute to the memory and contribution of Bernie Grant MP, and we are pleased to be a part of this cultural heritage.
